Agilent grants for systems biology software development

For those interested in software development in the field, particularly aimed at integrating data from different -omics approaches for a holistic view of biological systems, Agilent is giving out two $75,000 US grants (application deadline August 12, 2011). Funds will support academic or nonprofit research projects covering the development of open source software tools for integrating data from different omics platforms—genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.
